How can we help?
The Peer Listening Service (PLS) team is made up of your fellow student peers. We know that sometimes when things get rough you just need someone to talk to, not a counsellor or a parent or a even a friend but someone you can relate to, who won’t judge you and most importantly someone you can trust. All members of our team are dedicated, friendly and easy-going and we are here for you.
We are primarily here to be a listening ear for you rather than give you any advice. However you can always use us as a stepping stone to further support as we are well connected with other student welfare networks for example, the Muslim Chaplain and Counselling Service for Sisters.
Here are some everyday student issues we may be able to help you with:
- Exam stress
- Anxiety related to relationships
- Anxiety over body image
- Peer pressure
- Family problems
- Feeling down
- One-to-one – with a Peer Listener.
- Group – for resounding problems such as homesickness or exam stress.
By emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or using the form below. Any submissions will be sent directly to the Peer Listening Team, will not be seen by anyone else, and will be replied to within 24 hours.
